Belarus strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Syria
MINSK, 11 May (BelTA
) – The Foreign Ministry of Belarus strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Syria’s capital Damascus, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh told BelTA.
“Such attacks are barbaric and inhumane and cannot be justified by any political objectives,” the Foreign Ministry believes. The ministry noted that only a peaceful dialogue can help the country find a way out of the political deadlock and reach a national accord.
A reminder, a double terrorist attack rocked Damascus on 10 May killing over 40 and injuring 170. Two bombs exploded in the busy historical center of the Syrian capital. The bombing targeted a military intelligence building. The attack was immediately followed by firefight.
