System of official publishing of legal acts in the Republic of Belarus to be changed

Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 24 February 2012 No 3 provides that the official publishing of legal acts included in the National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus shall be the display of their texts in full conformity with the signed originals thereof on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus. The date of official publication of a legal act shall be the date of its display on the said portal. The decree also provides that legal acts published on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus may additionally be published in some printed editions, but this publishing is deemed to be unofficial. The Edict enters into force from 1 July 2012 and will be in effect till the entry into force of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus”.
