Belarus and Kazakhstan signed a number of agreements on cooperation

A plan of joint measures that will be taken in 2014-2016 to implement the Belarus-Kazakhstan economic cooperation program for 2009-2016 was signed in Astana after talks between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The document was signed by the chairmen of the Belarusian and Kazakh parts of the intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation: the Vice Premier of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi and the Kazakh Emergencies Minister Vladimir Bozhko.

The intergovernmental agreement on readmission and a protocol to the agreement were also signed in the presence of the two presidents in addition to an agreement on the procedures that citizens of Belarus have to follow while staying in Kazakhstan and that citizens of Kazakhstan have to follow while staying in Belarus. The Belarusian side and the Kazakh one also signed an agreement on cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
