Amendments in the Rules of the Road to enter into force

The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 10 August 2015 No. 349 has introduced changes and additions in the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 28 November 2005 No. 551 “On measures on increasing the safety of the road traffic”. The changes and additions provide in particular that road vehicles manufactured or sold in the Republic of Belarus and being delivered in self-propelled mode to the consumer or to the place of licensing shall be marked by temporary license plates issued by the manufactured or seller.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 13 August 2015 and its provisions concerning the Rules of the Road enter into force in six months from the day of its official publication.
