Government approves temporary licensing of import of some commodities

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 24 July 2015 No. 629 provides that import of some kinds of particle board and fibreboard of wood or of articles therefrom, classified under subheadings 4410 11 100 0, 4410 11 300 0, 4411 12 900 0, 4411 13 900 0, 4411 14 900 0, 4411 92 900 0 of the Single Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Trade of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as of some articles of plaster classified under subheadings 6809 11 000 0 and 6809 19 000 0 of the Single Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Trade of the Eurasian Economic Union, to the Republic of Belarus from outside of the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union shall be carried out under one-time licenses to be issued by the Ministry of Commerce upon obtaining consent of the Belarusian Production and Trade Concern of timber, woodworking and pulp and paper industry "Bellesbumprom" and the Ministry of Architecture and Construction.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 30 July 2015 and entered into force from 1 August 2015 and will be in effect for six months
