Legislation on economic companies amended

According to the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 15 July 2015 “On introduction of changes and additions in some laws of the Republic of Belarus on matters of economic companies”, amendments have been adopted in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 2 December 1992 “On economic companies” and in the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, amendments allow establishment of economic companies having a sole participant and also concern some aspects of interaction between economic companies and their participants.

The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 25 July 2015, and its main provisions enter into force in six months after its official publication.
