Belarus' government approves action plan to implement Directive No. 3

The Council of Ministers issued Resolution No.336 on 25 April 2016 to approve the action plan to implement Directive No. 3 on the priority areas of strengthening the economic security of the state, the new wording of which was approved by the President's Decree No.26 as of 26 January 2016.

The plan includes four sections and 111 points. It also identifies the officials in charge and deadlines from 2016 till 2020. The first section envisages the measures to diversify export. The second section of the action plan includes the activities to create the conditions for ramping up the production of high-tech and innovative goods using the technologies of the V and VI technological phases. The third section involves drastic changes in the quality of management of the country's industrial complex and gradual approximation of local labor productivity standards with the European standards. The fourth section includes the activities to raise the level of energy security.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 30 April 2016 and entered into force after its official publication.
