New amendments introduced in the Law concerning the system for prevention of neglect and offences of minors

Considerable amendments were introduced by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 9 January 2017 in the legislation concerning the bases of the system for prevention of neglect and offences of minors. In particular, introduced amendments contain provisions regulating the order of carrying out preventive individual work toward minors, including legal grounds for such work and its time limits, as well as the competence of different state bodies involved in preventive individual work toward minors.

The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 17 January 2017, and its main provisions enter into force from 1 July 2017.
