Procedure for liquidation of legal persons and termination of activities of individual entrepreneurs simplified

Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 28 February 2017 No 2 has considerably simplified the procedure established by legislation for liquidation of legal persons and termination of activities of individual entrepreneurs. In particular, the Decree allowed the completion of liquidation of legal persons and termination of activities of individual entrepreneurs, not having indebtedness on taxes and other obligatory payments, which could be completed due to lack of some documents about their activities.

The Decree was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 2 March 2017, and its main provisions enter into force in six months after its official publication.
