National Bank of the Republic of Belarus modified rules concerning application of electronic payment instructions

Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus of 21 February 2017 No. 73 amended the Instructions on bank transfer approved on 29 March 2001. In particular, amendments modify provisions of the Instructions on bank transfer concerning the procedure for using payment documents drawn up in electronic form and determine requirements for such payment documents, including those intended for use in international settlements.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 22 March 2017, and its main provisions enter into force from 4 July 2017.
