Presidents of Belarus, Uzbekistan review recent talks, cooperation over phone

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarusian head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation in furtherance of the agreements reached during the recent official visit of the Uzbekistan president to Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The presidents reviewed the recent talks, the key areas of the Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation and the issues related to the implementation of joint projects in various sectors of the economy,” the press service informed.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed the invitation to Aleksandr Lukashenko to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at any time convenient for him.
