Government approved regulations concerning the waste management procedure

Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 28 November 2019 No 818 approved the regulations concerning the waste management procedure, including hazardous and industrial waste, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

In particular, approved regulations provide for the procedure for registering transactions on the transfer of hazardous waste, procedure for agreeing instructions on waste management, procedure for agreeing schemes of waste management generated on the lands for nature-conservation, health, recreation and historical-and-cultural purposes, procedure for the issuance and cancellation of permits for storage and disposal of industrial waste, procedure for registration of commissioned waste facilities and the procedure for recording commissioned facilities for storage, disposal and decontamination of waste,

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 5 November 2019 and enters into force from 9 November 2019.
