Regulations on technical and cryptographic protection of information approved

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 9 December 2019 No 449 approved regulations on technical and cryptographic protection of information, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

Regulations provide for improvement of state regulation in the field of technical and cryptographic protection of information through increasing the level of national security in the information sphere for critically important objects of informatization.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 13 December 2019, and its main provisions enter into force in three months after its official publication.
