Belarus to reduce oil export duties on 1 January

MINSK (BelTA) – On 1 January 2020 Belarus will reduce customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.918 of 27 December, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude will go down from $90.5 to $77.2 per tonne.

The export duty on straight-run gasoline will decrease from $49.7 to $42.4 per tonne. The export duty on commercial gasoline will make up $23.1 instead of $27.1 per tonne. The same rate is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 December.
