The Law modifying the legislation regulating housing relations officially published
The Law of the Republic of Belarus of 4 May 2019 “On modifying the laws on issues of legal regulation of housing relations” provides a new wording of the Housing Code of the Republic of Belarus of 28 August 2012, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.
New amendments of the Housing Code of the Republic of Belarus set out a new structure of payments for housing and communal services, regulate specific features of functioning of accounts on which the payment for major repairs are being accumulated, modify the procedure for making decisions in partnership of owners and other joint households, provide for the improvement of the procedure for record keeping of persons in need of better housing conditions.
The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 30 June 2019 and enters into force in six months after its official publication.
