Belarus president makes new appointments

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made new appointments on 29 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state appointed:

Gennady Solovei – Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee;

Anatoly Linevich – Belarus President's aide, inspector for Vitebsk Oblast;

Aleksandr Guryanov – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of San Marino (concurrent accreditation).

The President also approved the appointment of:

Aleksandr Shubsky as Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee;

Viktor Gutorov as Chairman of the Shumilino District Executive Committee;

Aleksandr Sidorenko as Chairman of the Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee;

Andrei Turuk as Chairman of the Korma District Executive Committee;

Yevgeny Krukovich as Chairman of the Volozhin District Executive Committee;

Valery Melnik as Chairman of the Lyuban District Executive Committee;

Sergei Pilishchik as Chairman of the Kopyl District Executive Committee;

Aleksandr Butarev as chairman of the Gorki District Executive Committee;

Mikhail Gulyi as chairman of the Kirovsk District Executive Committee;

Stepan Polonnikov as chairman of the Krugloye District Executive Committee;

Konstantin Zhigutsky as chairman of the Osipovichi District Executive Committee;

Sergei Mikhalyuta as chairman of the Slavgorod District Executive Committee;

Vitaly Vlasevich as head of the administration of the Pervomaisky district of Bobruisk;

Dmitry Korchik as director general of the Belarusian Steel Works Management Holding Company;

Aleksandr Osmolovsky as chairman of the board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange;

Aleksandr Kadlubai as deputy education minister;

Sergei Nesterovich as first deputy minister of communication and informatization;

Andrei Yakobson as deputy head of the Belarusian Railways.
