Amendments in Law on Auditing Activity approved
On 18 July 2019, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed the Law of the Republic of Belarus that introduced amendments in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 12 July 2013 “On Auditing Activity”, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.
In particular, the approved amendments clarify the powers of state bodies implementing state regulation of audit activities, rights, obligations, responsibility of audit organizations, auditors, operating as individual entrepreneurs; regulate issues of creating an Audit Chamber, a register of auditors, auditors – individual entrepreneurs, audit organizations (audit register), etc.
The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 27 July 2019 and its main provisions enter into force in three months after its official publication.
