Belarus ratified Agreement on the mutual recognition of visas with Russian Federation

The Law of the Republic of Belarus of 7 December 2020 ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on the mutual recognition of visas and on other issues related to the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons to the territory of the member states, signed in Minsk on 19 June 2020, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

The Agreement stipulates that foreign citizens and stateless persons will have the right to enter, leave, stay and transit through the territory of Belarus and Russia on the basis of a visa of one of the states and on the basis of identity documents.

The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 10 December 2020.
