Excise rates on automobile fuel have been changed
According to the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 28 February 2020 No 84 “On excises on automobile fuel”, excise rates on automobile fuel have been increased by four times form 1 March 2020, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.
The Edict also provides that until 31 December 2020, excise tax payers that realize automobile gasoline and/or diesel fuel in the territory of the Republic of Belarus shall compute and pay excises at the established rates using a coefficient of 0.25.
The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 4 March 2020 and entered into force from 1 March 2020.
