Belarus ratified the Second Additional Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention

The Law of the Republic of Belarus of 20 May 2020 ratified the Second Additional Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention, adopted at the Third Extraordinary Universal Postal Congress in Geneva on 26 September 2019, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

The Protocol provides for amendments to the Universal Postal Convention concerning the remuneration system for letters and small packets for the cost of handling, transporting and delivering items across borders.

The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 23 May 2020.
