Belarusian, Chinese defense ministries sign military technical cooperation memorandum

MINSK (BelTA) – A videoconference meeting of Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Belarusian Defense Ministry, Defense Minister Aide for International Military Cooperation, Major-General Oleg Voinov and Chief of the International Military Cooperation Office of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, Major-General Ci Guowei took place on 29 November, BelTA has learned.

The sides discussed the next year's Belarusian-Chinese planned military cooperation events. A memorandum on establishing twinning relations between the defense ministries of Belarus and China in the area of international military cooperation was signed.

Oleg Voinov and Ci Guowei underlined the presence of good prospects for Belarus-China military cooperation and the importance of further enhancement and development of these prospects. Belarus-China relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation were emphasized.
