Today we are holding a joint meeting of the two chambers of the National Assembly in order to ask the government questions about the country's economic development. Taking part in the joint meeting are First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov and heads of a number of government agencies,” said Vladimir Andreichenko.

According to him, parliamentarians are investing a lot of effort in improving legislative support for economic activities. “During the current session alone, a number of laws were adopted to implement the comprehensive government plan to support the economy; we improved approaches to settling insolvency, fighting corruption, and transferring property to external management,” the speaker noted.
