Regulations concerning overtime modified

The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 5 April 2012 No 156 provides that employees may be engaged, upon their consent, in overtime work within the limit of 180 hours a year. In this instance overtime work for each employee may not exceed 10 hours a workweek, and the duration of a workday with account of overtime work may not exceed 12 hours. Employees being on leave without pay or with a partial pay may have a second employment for a full working day (shift).
The Edict enters into force after its official publication.
