Lukashenko’s performance as Collective Security Council Chairman praised

MOSCOW, 20 December (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko did effective and enterprising work as the Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council, said President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev as he opened a regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Moscow on 20 December.

Dmitry Medvedev said the agenda included 35 matters that concerned various topics. In his words, priority attention will be paid to fulfilling the resolutions passed at the December summit of the organization in 2010 and at the informal summit of the organization in August 2011.

Dmitry Medvedev said that at the present summit the CSTO presidency would be transferred from Belarus to Kazakhstan.
