Belarus, Bulgaria to expand cooperation in transportation

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Bulgaria plan to develop cooperation in international road haulage, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Transport and Communication Ministry of Belarus.

Partnership is transportation was discussed in a meeting of the Bulgarian-Belarusian mixed commission on motor-service that was held in Sofia not long ago.

The delegations shared information on bilateral trade development in 2010 and in H1 2011.

The sides coordinated the final quota of cargo haulage permits in 2011 as well as the preliminary quota for 2012.

The Belarusian side voiced a proposal to simplify visa issuance procedures for Belarusian forwarders in the Embassy of Bulgaria in Minsk and an opportunity to use entry Bulgarian visas for transit via Belarus.
