Lukashenko expects Russia’s energy prices to fall in 2012

BORISOV, 15 November (BelTA) - Most likely the prices for Russia's energy supplies will fall in 2012, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said today during a working trip to Minsk Oblast, BelTA reports.

“We will announce this together with Dmitry Medvedev in the near future. But the price for natural gas will be different. I think it will be different for oil as well,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

“The drop in prices is unlikely to be big. The fund we will save on this will be used to support people, pensioners first of all,” the President said.
