Belarusian and European experts discuss public-private partnership concept

MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) – A meeting of experts on the development of the public-private partnership concept was held as part of Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument by the European Commission (TAIEX), BelTA learnt from the department of public relations of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.

The meeting discussed the establishment of public-private partnership in Belarus as a specialized organization for the promotion of public-private partnership mechanisms. Belarusian experts got familiar with the practices of the European Union (Germany) in what regards public-private partnership agencies (their forms, activities, tasks and functions).

Partaking in the session were Director of the Brussels European representation of the Federal Pool of German Insurances for Locally Assigned Public Risks BADK Ralf Von Ameln, head of the regional association of Westphalia Regina Pruntsel as well as representatives of the Economy Ministry, CASE Belarus and the Coordinator of the EU Projects in Belarus.
