China’s Genertec names business climate in Belarus favorable

BEIJING, 8 November (BelTA) – The management of China’s Genertec Holding Company finds the business climate in Belarus favorable. The interest in new projects in Belarus was showed at a meeting between Belarus Vice Premier Anatoly Tozik and Chairman of the Board of the Genertec Holding Company He Tongxin in Beijing on 7 November, BelTA has learnt.

The sides discussed the progress made in the implementation of upgrade projects in the Minsk CHP plants No. 2 and No.5 funded by the subsidiary of the China National Corporation on Foreign Economic Cooperation. China also showed interest in the implementation of joint projects in blood plasma processing, the construction of a nitric acid workshop and the modernization of the Polimir Plant.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the interest of the Chinese holding company in cooperation and urged all subsidiaries of the holding company to examine opportunities of direct investment, including within the framework of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park in Belarus. Belarus’ pharmaceutical industry has great competitive capacity and the Belarusian side is ready to consider mutually beneficial forms of cooperation in this area.
