Belarus ready to expand farm exports to Kazakhstan

MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to increase the supplies of agricultural products to Kazakhstan. The issue was discussed will potential partners at the international agricultural exhibitions KazAgro 2011 and KazFerma 2011 in Astana, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The expos displayed a wide range of products of the Belarusian companies such as Gomselmash, Minsk Tractor Works, Bobruiskagromash, Lidselmash, Bobruisk Works of Tractor Parts and Aggregates, and others.

The products and the latest scientific research of the Belarusian companies raised a great interest among Kazakhstani specialists and businessmen, the press service said.

Combine harvesters Essil KZS-740 (KSZ-812), Essil KZS-760 (KSZ-1218), and Gomselmash’s self-moving forage harvester KSK-600 received special diplomas and gold medals at the exhibition.

The Belarusian delegation also held talks with potential partners on a possibility of opening new joint assembling plants.
