Lukashenko: Public sector salaries will be raised in October

MOLODECHNO, 30 September (BelTA) – Public sector salaries are planned to be raised in Belarus in October, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as he visited the Molodechno children’s hospital on 30 September.

Alexander Lukashenko said measures would be taken soon to raise salaries of public sector employees, including medics, teachers, and the military. For instance, salaries of medics should get higher by about 25%.

The President examined the reconstructed children’s hospital, operation of its treatment sections. The hospital boasts new equipment that allows performing the most complicated surgeries on newborns and breastfed babies. Looking around an operating room, the head of state said: “We have a cutting-edge operating room in every district capital”.
