Belarus Universal Commodity Exchange to expand into RSA

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – In a visit to the Republic of South Africa a delegation of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) headed by Chairman Arkady Salikov met with a partner company Africa Union Holdings to discuss an opening of BUCE’s electronic office in the region, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The sides agreed to conduct the first e-procurement in the near future.

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of South Africa has organized meetings with representatives of large South-African companies such as Kopano Ke Matla Investment Company, АТЕХ, South African Breweries Ltd which expressed readiness to act as possible partners in assisting the activity of the BUCE regional office in RSA. These companies are ready to provide logistics, insuring, transport, stocking and other services for transactions concluded at e-trading venues of BUCE and Africa Union Holdings.
