United Latvia movement urges EU to start constructive dialogue with Belarus

MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – The youth movement “United Latvia” calls on the European Union to put an end to the attempts of political and economic pressure on Belarus and to start a constructive dialogue, BelTA has learnt.

“We believe that such actions not only undermine the national interests of its citizens, create barriers to cooperation, but are openly aimed at destabilizing the Belarusian society,” reads the statement.

United Latvia has called on the international youth public organizations not to stay on the sidelines and express support to Belarusian people who have become victims of the interference of foreign states with the domestic affairs of Belarus.
