Lukashenko, Berdimuhamedov meet informally on 28 April

MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have held an informal conversation on 28 April. Alexander Lukashenko came to the National Airport Minsk to say good-bye to his Turkmenistan counterpart who was on an official visit to Minsk on 27-28 April, BelTA has learnt.

The heads of state talked with students from Turkmenistan who came to the airport. The Belarusian President confirmed his intention to invite young people from Turkmenistan to study in Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reviewed yesterday’s negotiations and shared views on the bilateral cooperation and interaction within international organizations.

The presidents confirmed their strong determination to hold regular highest-level meetings.
