Makei speaks at NAM summit in Tehran
MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – The 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit opened in Tehran on 30 August. Partaking in the forum is a Belarusian delegation led by Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
“The Foreign Minister of Belarus in his speech at the plenary meeting of the summit on 30 August described Belarus’ approaches to the NAM activity and the country’s vision of the NAM development prospects,” the press service said.
Vladimir Makei also met with the foreign ministers of Vietnam, Indonesia and Serbia and special representative of the Premier of Australia.
