Korea, Russia, Belarus step up sci-tech cooperation in state management

MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – The leading public administration universities of Korea, Russia and Belarus are intensifying sci-tech cooperation in state management, BelTA learnt from the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Interest to step up cooperation has been shown from President of the Korea Institute of Public Administration Park Eung-kyuk, Director of the Northwestern Institute, a subsidiary of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Shamakhov and Pro-rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus Igor Gancherenok at the recent international seminar in Seoul.

In his speech at the seminar Igor Gancherenok touched upon the issue of modern society which might be molded via open, unstable and dynamic network architecture with the relevant individualism and growing communication confidentiality. In this respect he stressed the need to increase the regulating role of the present public administration system.

Vladimir Shamakhov told the participants of the seminar about an important role of public relations in the formation of the positive attitude to the current political course and management decisions.

Park Eung-kyuk underlined in his speech that the lack of communication between the state and citizens is the main reason for a low level of trust in the authorities.
