Tenth medal for Belarus as Bogdanovich brothers win silver

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - The 2008 Olympic champions brothers Andrei and Alexander Bogdanovich picked up a silver medal for Belarus in the men's C2 1000m final at Eton Dorney on 9 August, BelTA has learnt.

The Belarusians clocked the time of 3:35.206. The German canoe sprinters snatched gold, and the Russian team won bronze medals.

Alexander, 30, and Andrei, 24, were born in Osipovichi District, Mogilev Oblast. They are the 2008 Olympic champions and also many-time winners of the world and European championships.
