Petrishenko, Naryshkin discuss Belarus-Russia further integration

MOSCOW, 26 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Sergei Naryshkin had a working meeting in Moscow on 24 December, BelTA learnt from the embassy.

Igor Petrishenko and Sergei Naryshkin discussed the results of the Moscow integration summits – the meetings of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the EurAsEC Interstate Council and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as the progress made in the implementation of the decisions made at the 43rd session of the Belarus-Russia Union State Parliamentary Assembly. The sides exchanged opinions on further integration development and other important issues regarding the Russian-Belarusian cooperation.

The diplomat expressed gratitude to the State Duma MPs for ratification of several Belarusian-Russian agreements and fruitful cooperation in the international parliamentary organizations.
