Minsk to host Belarusian-French ministerial consultations 14 December

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-French ministerial consultations will take place at the Foreign Ministry of Belarus on 14 December, BelTA learnt from the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The Belarusian delegation will be led by Head of the Department for Europe of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Sergei Malinovsky, the French delegation by Director of the Continental Europe Department of the Foreign Ministry of France Eric Fournier.

Participants of the consultations will consider a wide range of issues including Belarus-France cooperation in international organizations and the status of the Belarus-EU relations.

In January-September 2012 Belarus-France trade made up $374.8 million (98.8% to the same months last year). Belarusian exports totaled $64.2 million (119.9%). Forty-four France-funded companies operate in Belarus.
