Better regulations for electronic interactive games in Belarus

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – The procedure for the organization and holding electronic interactive games will be improved in Belarus. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed relevant decree No. 95 on 22 February, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

This is why the regulation on activities for the organization of electronic interactive games in Belarus has been expanded with the term “optional equipment”.

The organizer of an interactive electronic game will have to get the Operations and Analysis Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus to issue an expert statement confirming the correct operation of the optional equipment required for such games, the lack of undocumented capabilities of the said equipment, and the protection of the information the equipment stores against unauthorized access.

Digital interactive games that require the use of untested optional equipment are now banned.
