Lukashenko awards military ranks
MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexandra Lukashenko signed decrees to award military and special ranks on 21 February, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The military rank of Major-General has been awarded to Colonels Igor Busko, Igor Golub, Leonid Dedkov, Vladimir Kalach and Viktor Lisovsky.
The rank of Major-General of the Police has been bestowed on Colonel Valentin Mikhnevich.
Colonel of the Interior Service Alexander Shamko has received the rank of Major-General.
