Mandatory surrender of forex earnings in Belarus until 2017
MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) - Mandatory surrender of foreign exchange earnings will stay in place in Belarus until 1 January 2017, Vice Premier of Belarus, head of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Rumas told media on 26 January.
The Republic of Belarus will be given a respite on the introduction of several provisions of the agreement, the official stressed.
“As for mandatory surrender of foreign exchange earnings, it will be abandoned not earlier than in January 2017. Moratorium on liberalization of capital transactions in the Republic of Belarus will be extended to 1 January 2015,” Sergei Rumas said.
