Belarus presents research projects at China Guangzhou International Innovation Fair
MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarus has presented sci-tech projects at the China Guangzhou International Innovation Fair, BelTA learnt from Belarus’ Embassy in Beijing.
The Belarusian delegation that included a representative of the embassy took part in the China Guangzhou International Innovation Fair and the 14th Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology upon the invitation of the Union for International Scientific Cooperation between the CIS member states and Guangdong Province.
Taking part in the fair, the forum, seminars on sci-tech cooperation and talks with partners were representatives of the Belarusian National Technical University, AGAT SYSTEM, and the Gomel F. Skorina State University.
Belarus presented the scientific projects at a separate booth that was part of a bigger booth (Belarus-Russia-Ukraine) of the Union for International Scientific Cooperation between the CIS member states and Guangdong Province. The booth was visited by the local and central authorities of China.
The new party leaders and the city administration of Guangzhou are going to make an emphasis on innovative development. They are set to establish the city as a major innovative center of the country alongside with Beijing, Nanjing, and Shenzhen. Cooperation with research institutions of the CIS member states will be highly instrumental in implementing the strategy.
