Belarus issues Br4.7 trillion of public long-term bonds

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – A total of Br4.7 trillion of public long-term bonds with one-year maturity has been issued in Belarus. The decision is contained in Council of Ministers’ Resolution No 1774 of 30 December 2011, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The funds generated from bond offering will be kept at the authorized funds of ASB Belarusbank (Br3.9 trillion) and Belagroprombank (Br800 billion).

The resolution also provides for posting budget funds, including those temporary posted at the deposits of these banks, to the authorized funds of Belarusbank (Br9 trillion) and Belagroprombank (Br800 billion).
