Martynov to visit Indonesia, Laos on 11-15 June

MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Martynov will pay an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia on 11-13 June, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh told a press conference on 7 June, BelTA has learnt.

The Belarusian Foreign Minister will hold talks with the Indonesian President, Foreign Minister, Speaker, Defense Minister, Trade Minister, Education Minister and Research and Technology Minister. The parties will discuss all the aspects of Belarus-Indonesia cooperation.

The foreign ministers of the two countries are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding and bilateral ministerial consultations.

Sergei Martynov will also meet with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indonesia to discuss trade and economic cooperation.

The Belarusian Foreign Minister is set to meet with Secretary General of the Association of South-East Asian Nations to discuss ways to expand cooperation between Belarus and the ASEAN.

Upon the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister of Laos Sergei Martynov will visit the Lao People's Democratic Republic on 13-15 June.

The Belarusian Foreign Minister will meet with the President, Foreign Minister, Industry and Trade Minister, Science and Technology Minister of Laos to discuss political, trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation.
