Kupchina to attend Eastern Partnership informal meeting

MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Belarus will partake in the first round of the informal dialogue at the level of the foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership member states will take place in Chisinau on 5 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Attending the event will be the officials of the European Commission and the European External Action Service. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Kupchina.

The participants of the meeting will discuss the issues regarding the state and prospects of cooperation of the member states and the European Union under the Eastern Partnership program. The head of the Belarusian delegation will speak on the dialogue with the European Union, the development of the Eastern Partnership on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

Elena Kupchina is also expected to meet with members of the Moldavian Parliament and the Foreign Ministry, heads of other delegations, the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
