Belarus to build another five agro towns in Venezuela

QUITO, 28 June (BelTA) – Belarus will build another five agro-industrial towns in Venezuela. The relevant agreement was reached during the visit of the Belarusian delegation led by President Alexander Lukashenko to Venezuela, BelTA learnt from Architecture and Construction Minister Anatoly Nichkasov.

According to the minister, the sites for the future agro towns have been determined. Under the bilateral memorandum, the sides will decide upon the land, assess the infrastructure potential. This work will help the sides prepare necessary contracts.

Anatoly Nichkasov said that Belarus had already launched the construction of an agro town in Guarico State. “We have started from housing construction. The building of the first 50 houses is underway. The town will comprise 250 houses and an array of industrial facilities, necessary industrial and social infrastructure,” the minister said.
