Joint session of Belarusian MPs opens on 8 May

MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – A joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus has opened in the Oval Hall of the House of Government where President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will deliver the annual State of the Nation Address, BelTA has learnt.

The address will be broadcast live by the Belarus 1 TV channel and the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio.

Attending the event will be top officials, members of the government, chiefs of government agencies, big companies, diplomats and journalists.
