Lukashenko congratulates Putin on inauguration as Russia’s President
MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Vladimir Putin on taking office as President of the Russian Federation, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“Our countries are closely allied. A constructive political dialogue, consistent implementation of joint projects in economy and active humanitarian contacts contribute to a vigorous development of interstate cooperation,” the message reads.
“It is in our common interests to deepen integration,” the head of state said.
Alexander Lukashenko believes that by joint effort the two countries will be able to give an additional impetus to the multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation that will benefit the two peoples.
