Union State development prospects discussed in London

MOSCOW, 7 May (BelTA) – The Union State development prospects and the current state was discussed at a conference in London on 4 May. The conference lured a great number of British, Belarusian and Russian analysts, political scientists, journalists, diplomats and representatives of the tourism industry, BelTA learnt from the Union State Permanent Committee.

In his speech, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota told the participants of the meeting about the history of the Union State development, its integration activities, tasks and priorities.

According to him, the Union State intends to develop relations not only with Great Britain but also with other countries. “We would like to be understood. We would like to be seen and viewed as useful trade and other partners. We will do everything possible to keep it going the right way,” he noted.
