Belarus’ export of oil products to CIS up 1.6 times in January-September

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – In January-September 2012, the export of oil products from Belarus to CIS countries increased by 64.1% from the same period last year to 3.8 million tonnes. The average price of oil products was $932 per tonne, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.

In January-September this year the export of oil products to countries outside the CIS rose by 13.9% as against the same period 2011 to a total of 10.3 million tonnes (average price - $798).

In general, in January-September Belarus increased the export of oil products by 24.1% to 14.1 million tonnes. The average price of Belarusian oil products was $834 per tonne, which was up 3.3% as against January-September 2011.

In January-September the export of crude oil decreased by 1.7% and made up 1.235 million tonnes. The average price was $785 per tonne, down 0.9%. The oil was delivered to countries outside the CIS.
